2010. We hoarded over 500GB of footage including underwater video and photography. We shot them surfing, sailing, snorkeling and much more. These two videos are short excerpts that were rendered out on the same day they were shot. We had a great time. We will use the footage to create a video promo for Surf Challenge 2011.

Day one. This footage was shot with my canon 7D with a 18-50mm lens. There is NO color correction or any effects applied.

This is a short movie written and produced by Dan Olsen. He is a friend of mine and part of a small film crew we’ve established over the last year. He made this movie as a student of mine in an After Effects class. I helped him with Directing and Camera, but this is his creation and it is awesome. Hope you Enjoy.

This is a rough and ready trailer for a short movie I am making. It is still in production, so this was taken from the dailies.

Poor Bruno – A Psychological Thriller in which an Italian Doctor comes to vacation in quirky small town in America where he is unexpectedly swept up in a diabolical series of events in which he inadvertently frames himself for a murder he didn’t commit.

Pro Tools Skills

This is a 2 minute trailer of the movie Pandorum. I actually re-edited the trailer, combining my favorite parts of the two official trailers. I then stripped out EVERY sound, and reproduced all the sound effects, music, and dialogue (ADR).

I think it is awesome, but you have to turn it up!!!

Vision Scene Color Correcting

This film clip is a dream sequence from The Hidden, a feature film I wrote and directed in 2004. The whole film was shot in Italy, and this scene is shot as a flashback/dream sequence, and is therefore a period piece. The location and costumes all match the look I was going for. Interestingly, this particular location was only a two-minute walk from the place where they would later film Under The Tuscan Sun.
